Our Recipes

Typical Recipe LayoutAll of the recipes we develop to accompany those bags of flour are created with ease and simplicity in mind. Our customers range from the enthusiastic and skilled baker right through to the absolute novice. No matter where you sit on this scale you will still achieve a superb result and all in a matter of minutes.

We have created numerous recipes which are available free to download from this site. Each recipe has a picture next to it so that you can see how good your finished baking will look, and each one also tells you how long both the preparation and baking times are.

At the start we wanted to be sure that the everyday basics were covered, and then to add baked goods which are not available in the shops as ready-baked food. We continue to develop and add new recipes to our web site on a regular basis, and we respond to what our customers say they would like to eat. Your comments and suggestions are important because they help to shape the range of recipes we offer. We are also delighted to share customer recipes too and we thoroughly enjoy testing all the ones we receive; the best ones are then added to the site.

The Ingredients

We only use 100% natural wheat- and gluten-free flours, for example, potato flour, rice flour, soya flour, and maize flour. All recipes are created dairy-free and without compromise on the taste. If you do not have a dairy intolerance you can of course use butter and milk and the baking will not be affected. We try to keep the list of ingredients to a minimum and to use familiar ones and ones that keep. Of course, those who feel more adventurous can always experiment with the recipes and put their own twist on them - our Orange Madeira could just as easily be a Lemon Madeira, for example.
